My first landscape painiting

There is something so liberating about colors. There is something very liberating about zig-zag lines of

paint. There is something very liberating about a blank piece of watercolor paper. This is the freedom

to imagine and watch that imagination take shape. You do not adhere to a plan but you know what you

want. The boundaries of the rectangular paper end up liberating you.

I saw several photographs of a sophisticated white house and many stairs coming out of it. I somehow

pictured a beautiful blue sky. Then I pictured that on top of a mountain. To be honest, this is my first

landscape painting. I am used to moving my brush in any manner and making florals. I am proud of

what I have done. I love the fact that I am perfectly imperfect! I am human.

I have moved my brush the way I see patterns in nature. It can be challenging to decipher what the

painting depicts. Still, I see a waterfall and a high hill follow the same pattern. A waterfall is blue and

rectangular. A mountain is green and triangular.

Step farming looks like puddles and waves in green colors. I am not ashamed of depicting things the

way I see them. Share your perfectly imperfect painting with me.
